RPG Math

There are many systems games use to resolve character actions, and many players have questions about how they work. Hopefully, this will answer some of those questions.

Bell Curve
This is a discussion I used to demonstrate how dice work for many common RPG games, set up for the web. Many folks don't have a clear idea of how often specific numbers show up, which makes it difficult to judge how reliable character skills might be or how to use game mechanics to balance scenarios.

Hopefully, this will shed some light on the juicy math goodness at the core of our story-telling hobby. :-)
